Plan of attack
No, I’m not dead yet – just experiencing the usual post-vacation flurry of having to catch up all over the place. The past week or so has been particularly tiring both at work and home and it looks like it’s going to stay that way for a while. Blah. Whatever.
Not helping matters has been the fact that I’ve lost my iPhone. Even though I’m still sitting in front of a computer all day at work, I’ve been feeling really disconnected without it. Haven’t been turning on the laptop in the evenings or even really tweeting all that much. It’s like I’ve lost the will to be electronically social.
After waiting for the past couple of months for some free time to magically appear so I can return to blogging more regularly, I’ve accepted that it’s not going to happen. I do enjoy writing though, and I’ve definitely missed doing it, so I’m going to make more of an effort to carve out some time for blogging in the future.
Honestly, any sort of delay on posting recaps here is probably a good thing for you. When I write immediately after something occurs, I usually try to include as much as possible and they end up being unreadable epic-length pieces. Now that some time has elapsed, I’ve forgotten some of the less memorable details and therefore (theoretically) won’t include them when I start the typing.
So, here’s my schedule for the next week or so on here:
- Tomorrow: Wordless Wednesday as usual
- Thursday: Baltimore recap
- Friday: Wedding recap
- Monday: Colorado recap
- Tuesday: The saga of my lost iPhone (which hopefully will have reached some sort of conclusion by then)
Will I stick to this schedule? Possibly, although I admit there’s a high probably that I might not. On the flip side, though, maybe I’ll get a fire lit under me and add something extra over the weekend.
Shhhyeah, right—and monkeys might fly out of my butt.

I actually really enjoy your long-winded blah blah posts. So don’t let that stop you!
epic-length sagas are fun….its the only way I seem to know how to write…thank goodness there are no English teachers to grade my work.
hilarious that your back up phone is pink!
