On the road again

Well, unfortunately I never got around to recapping our Baltimore trip and my brother’s wedding. You can blame the usual suspects – kids, work, sleep and life in general. I’ll have to include them as the first two parts of a recap trilogy next week because we’re already headed somewhere else.

Today, The Wife, The Boy and I are headed to Denver for a couple of days. We’ve been wanting to take him back and show him where was born for a while and it all just kind of worked out for us to go ahead do it now.

I’m really looking forward to this trip. It’s been seven years since we left to come back to Texas and I have truly missed Colorado. I’m looking forward to revisiting a lot of familiar places and sharing them with our son. It was always a special place for me when I was his age; I hope this trip inspires, at least to some degree, the same sort of feelings in him.
