There will come soft rains

Wow, when your readership is predominantly female and a post with baby pictures fails to garner more than a single response, you know something’s wrong. In this case, I know it’s the lack of updates – I just haven’t been around here lately, so you’ve all stopped looking.

I cannot even begin to describe how little free time I’ve had over the past couple of weeks. Work, kids, running, sleep – these all combine to form a perfect storm of not blogging. Last week was particularly rough and unfortunately, I think this week will be about the same. I’m hoping the end of the school year will bring a little more peace and quiet.

But I doubt it.

I ran across this 1984 short film created by Uzbekfilm the other day and felt like sharing it. A hauntingly beautiful example of Soviet animation based on a Ray Bradbury story, which in turn was based on a 1920 poem. I predict The Wife will not like it.
