Fortune cookie wisdom

These past couple of weeks since Christmas have been unusually busy and tiring for a variety of reasons. There’s just been a ton of stuff going on at work and home for both The Wife and me.

I don’t really have the energy or inclination to get into the details, but the past few weeks have taught/reinforced some important life lessons:

  • Best part of the mealAn ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
  • If something is important, make the time for it.
  • Look before you leap.
  • Tell your family how much you love them every day.
  • A cup full of liquid isn’t the best place to store your electronic devices.
  • Children speak the truth loudly and often at socially awkward times.
  • Do what you think is best, not what others believe you should think is best.
  • When a llama starts to work up a spitwad, running is a good idea.
  • Be thankful for what you have and share with those who don’t.
  • In the end, it all works out one way or another.

And your lucky lotto numbers are 1-4-13-15-19-27.

I haven’t done this in a while, so they’ve kind of piled up:
