Our cat will put up with pretty much anything

When you’ve got small kids, it’s a good thing to have easy-going pets. No matter how well-behaved your rugrats are, natural curiosity and playfulness mean that eventually ears and tails are going to get tugged.

Fortunately, both of our pets are extremely passive. In fact, they’ll put up with just about anything as long as it means they’re receiving attention from a human.

Over the past couple of weeks, The Girl has discovered that she can boss them around just like she does the rest of the world. Her tiny little imaginary daycare operation, which previously accepted dolls and people, is now taking in animals as well:
