Thank you for posting this moving pictures. I’m glad you went last night. I can totally understand not wanting to replace those good memories. They are ones I think we need to hold on to.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I couldn’t believe it when I woke up that morning either. I normally parked in the parking lot right by the field, I was in such denial that despite the contsant radio warnings about not being able to park there I drove that way anyway. I remember the “Arms of an Angel” song that the local radio re-mixed to include the press releases. It was unbelievably sad, and while I love that the Aggie family came together and showed how united we truly are and that UT joined in as we are all Texans – I hope I never have to experience that kind of togetherness in another group to which I belong for such a sad reason.
