@Val: You’re right. I even pointed that out in my original draft, but I must have deleted it accidentally before it was published. Much Bronco love.

@Marcos: I understand your point, but I personally don’t like sites that show the full text on the front page, especially when the posts tend to be as long as mine. I’m also a bit OCD about tracking – I need to know which specific posts are generating the most traffic. Analytics reports that show 90% of my traffic consists of home page views don’t really tell me much of anything.

@Emily: If in 20 years The Girl is concerned about pantless pictures of her being on the web, then I’ll breathe a sigh of relief.

nice redesign! I’m too clueless about html, etc. to do much with mine, but do enjoy seeing the different looks people come up with.

Like the new layout. However, your orange is VERY close to that burnt orange you so loathe! Did you get The Girl’s permission to use that picture? I can see her in 20 years saying “DAD!! I don’t have any pants on!!”

My main complaint would be that the home page doesn’t show the full text of your recent posts. Of course, I can’t be sure that this is actually a change since it’s not like I visit that often – but I loathe “read more” or “after the jump” links.

I like the redesign a lot, the header is great, I hate the picture of me. And you knew I would, hence the NYAPNFAQ. But that’s fine, I can be a good sport.

I would like to go on the record as being in favor of the redesign. Though I do expect the wife to have a few choice words regarding the header.

Is it just me, or is this color scheme a bit reminiscent of your beloved Denver Broncos?
