Ceramic mug no match for bullet-proof glass
A week ago, a Russian woman threw a ceramic mug at the Mona Lisa. And nothing happened of course, because the thick glass surrounding the painting protected it completely. Not the most well-thought out act of vandalism.

In Colorado, it only takes $50 to be a pioneer
Colorado's Department of Revenue says it stopped requiring proof from pioneer descendants two years ago after they learned they didn't have the legal right to demand it. Before 2007, you had to prove that you had at least one progenitor living in the state at least 100 years ago. Now, any yokel with $50 can get one.
