It’s so damn hot… milk was a bad choice.
This is totally unacceptable.
Of course, my wee iPhone screen is only capable of showing me how miserable the next five days will be. So, possibly, maybe, hopefully things will cool off a wee bit after Saturday? Like maybe back down into the double digits?
Sadly, a quick look at the Weather Channel’s 10-day forecast says no such luck.
I suppose, though, this is very good news if you sell giant blocks of ice for a living. And let’s face it – you people have needed some good news since the whole refrigeration and air conditioning thing caught on a few decades ago.
Also, we should all the thank the folks at the Weather Channel for putting a totally redundant bar graph right next to their forecasted highs. Honestly, if I couldn’t understand what the big bold “102°” meant to begin with, a whole bunch of things that look like sticks of butter probably won’t help all that much.
But it is dropping into the high seventies at night! Positively balmy!
Our temps are going to be slightly lower (a degree or two), which I find odd, since you’re like north of us and stuff. I fail to understand weather at it’s most basic level.
I believe your proximity to the Gulf helps keep your temps a little bit lower than ours normally. LJ is usually 1-3 degrees cooler than us on any given day.
