A weekend at home
We had a very busy, but very good, weekend. The Wife went back to the Swamp for Friday and the first part of Saturday to help her parents pack up the house they’ll be moving out of soon and we had some friends and their kids over for backyard water fun and dinner on Saturday night.
Sunday was relatively laid back. Just some grocery shopping and wandering around the aisles of the Home Depot, looking at possibilities for remodeling our bathroom and kitchen. We didn’t do anything for Father’s Day per se, but that’s fine with me. Just being able to relax with The Wife and the kids is enough for me.
Perhaps the best summary of this weekend can be provided by The Girl. As usual, she kept herself busy.
- There was much eating of sugary cereal.
- There was some shopping.
- There was attentive animal care.
- There was some dressing up.
- There was a lot of climbing.
- There was some general just being cute.
- And, there was this:
Not even 18 months old and she already has a better nose-blowing technique than our son.
very cute…I thought she might help you redecorate the bathroom (in toilet paper).Happy father’s day!
I love that she had the blow its nose!
Wait, I said cat – I love that she had the CAT blow its nose.
