    It should be noted that this fish is now dead, no doubt due to The Wife’s lackadaisical attitude towards keeping his bowl (or cubicle) clean. Also, he had a tumor on his back the size of Detroit.

    I think it was the tumor that killed him, poor guy. Towards the end it was clearly weighing him down, and I think he was blind in one eye too.

    too cute.

    I had a beta that actually committed suicide, jumped out of its bowl while I was getting ready to clean it.. does wonders for your self-esteem when a fish would rather end it all then be with you.

    totally unrelated – but we saw that same panda bear with the tiny panda donation can in NYC! and a surly guy dressed up as the statue of liberty who demanded a woman delete the pictures when she wouldn’t give him $5
