The Linkage for Oct. 29th

Here’s a quick look at what I was reading online from Oct. 6th to Oct. 29th:

There's no doubt that Daleks are pretty much the coolest villans of all-time, but apparently they make horrible cakes.

More proof that no matter which side of the political spectrum you're on, everybody has a relative who does stupid things. And another example of old people and phones not being a good combination.

You know your college football analyst is a little long in the tooth when he's making inappropriate Hitler references during the show.

Russia's deputy prime minister said that if the Ukranian government wished, Russia would pull its Black Sea fleet out of Sevastopol when their current lease expires in 2017. The Canadian Grand Prix has been dropped from the 2009 Formula One calendar and replaced with the inaugural race in Abu Dhabi. Since the U.S. Grand Prix at Indianapolis was already cut, that means the world's premiere open wheel racing circuit won't have a presence in North America at all.

Astros' pitcher involved in drunken hotel brawl
Tags: astros stupid crime baseball
A great start for the Astros offseason. Nothing beats a middle-of-the-line starter who's spent most of the past three seasons on the DL getting to a hotel bar fight with police while defending an underage drinker.
