Full house

It’s been a very busy couple of days. Right now I’m sitting in a very full house as my parents, my brother, his girlfriend, my family and a myriad of pets sit around glued to the television watching Hurricane Ike hit our hometown nearly head-on. It’s at time like these I’m glad that I live two hours away from the coast now.

I wonder when my parents will be able to return home and what they’ll find when they get there. We’ve been watching television coverage all day and it looks pretty bad. Going to be a long night, followed by a long weekend as the storm works it’s way up through Texas and past us.

Too crowded and busy here to put together a full blog post, but that’s a quick update. More at some point.
