Target identified and captured

It all started with The Girl practicing her burgeoning crawling skills on our bed yesterday evening:

Crawling... almost

I decided to take some pictures and The Girl noticed that I had the camera:

What's that?

And she had to come over and investigate:

A closer look

Then she saw the lens cap hanging from the side of the camera:

Ooh, hanging thing!

And she decided that she could chew on that:

Got it

So like everything else within arm’s reach, it ended up in her little mouth:

Nom, nom nom

  • SnorkelingSince the wedding photos were such a big hit, I’ve gone ahead and scanned in our honeymoon photos as well. While I was scanning them, I spent the entire time reflecting on how stupid the word “honeymoon” is.
  • We had planned on tonight being the first year for The Boy to stay up and watch Independence Day fireworks, but it was not to be. By the time the rockets went up, he was fast asleep. Maybe next year.
  • I hate string trimmers. I spent over an hour battling one this morning, but I won (barely).
  • The Boy ships out for his second two-week tour with the grandparents tomorrow morning.
  • I’ve never seen it on stage, but the film version of 1776 is great. It’s a bit cheesy in parts, but it is a musical after all. And even though it takes a few liberties (pun intended), it’s fairly accurate historically speaking. I highly suggest it.
  • Somehow June flew right on past, which means that the June photo gallery is complete.

How did you get out of seeing 1776 on stage, and I sat through it at least twice at our local theater? (And don’t give me excuses about my mom sewing costumes, I don’t wanna hear it.) Actually, it wasn’t that bad.

The Girl has some beautiful big eyes and squishable cheeks.

We drove through your town yesterday on our way home…and if I was a better stalker, we’d have come by, but I have no clue where you actually live there.

Hmm, I’ll readily admit that I didn’t attend productions out at The Center unless I was made to go. Apparently I wasn’t made to go to that one.

We weren’t home much yesterday, but I’ll e-mail you our address so you can stalk us in the future.

Our bed looks incredibly ghetto as captured on film. That’s downright embarrassing.
